Terms & Conditions

नियम और शर्तें

These terms govern the use of Tasveer by photography studios who buy it and by wedding guests who open a gallery. By creating an account, paying for an event, or opening a gallery link, you agree to them. How we handle personal data is set out separately, in the privacy policy.

In effect from 1 September 2026 · Governed by the laws of India

01Who you are contracting with

Tasveer is a service operated by Ubilo, a sole proprietorship established in India (“we”, “us”, “our”). References to “you” mean the studio, photographer, couple or guest using the service.

You can reach a person about anything on this page at support@tasveer.online. Clause 18 says how quickly.

02What Tasveer does

Tasveer delivers wedding photographs to the people in them. A studio uploads a wedding's photographs; a guest scans a QR code, gives consent, takes one selfie, and is shown only the photographs their face appears in, at original quality.

The service is sold to studios at a flat price per wedding. Guests are never charged, never asked to install an application, and never asked to create an account.

Face recognition is statistical, not certain. We do not warrant that every photograph of a guest will be found, or that no photograph of another person will ever be shown — which is why every match is reviewable and every guest can report a photograph that is not them.

03Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract under Indian law to create a studio account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself and telling us promptly at support@tasveer.online if you believe someone else has it.

Information you give us — studio name, contact details, GSTIN where applicable — must be accurate and kept current. We may suspend an account whose details are false.

04What a studio is responsible for

A studio using Tasveer is the party that holds the relationship with the couple and their guests. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the studio is the Data Fiduciary for the wedding's photographs and the guest data collected through its galleries; we act as a Data Processor on the studio's instructions.

By uploading a wedding, a studio confirms that:

  • it has the right to upload and process those photographs, and to make them available to guests through Tasveer;
  • it has the couple's agreement to deliver the wedding this way;
  • it will not use the service to process photographs of an event it was not engaged to photograph;
  • it will respond to a guest's request to take a photograph down, and to any grievance the guest raises with it directly.

We present each guest with a consent notice in their own language before any selfie is taken. That notice, and the guest's answer to it, is recorded and is the legal basis on which the guest's face is processed.

05Guests using a gallery

A gallery link is personal to the guest it was issued to. Do not share it, and do not attempt to reach photographs that were not matched to you.

Photographs downloaded from a gallery are for your own personal use. Copyright in them stays with the photographer or the studio — see clause 10. Reselling them, or using them commercially, needs the studio's permission.

Your face data is yours. You may delete it, and your gallery with it, in one tap from the gallery itself, at any time, without asking anyone. It is also deleted automatically at the end of the retention period shown on the consent screen.

06Fees, plans and taxes

Tasveer is sold as an event pack — a one-time price for one wedding, covering an allowance of photographs. It is not a subscription. Nothing renews automatically and no payment instrument is stored or charged again by us.

Every wedding starts on a free trial allowance so a studio can see the product working before paying anything. If a wedding needs more photographs than its pack allows, a top-up adds to the allowance rather than replacing it.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are shown in full — including any taxes that apply — on the checkout screen before you pay. Prices published elsewhere are indicative; the price at checkout is the price of the contract. We may change prices at any time, but never for a pack already bought.

Where we are required to charge GST, it is shown separately at checkout and on the invoice issued after payment.

07Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, an authorised payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. Card, UPI, net-banking and wallet details are handled by Razorpay under its own terms and are never seen or stored by us.

An event pack is granted to the wedding when Razorpay confirms the payment has succeeded, which is usually immediate. If money leaves your account and the allowance does not change within an hour, write to support@tasveer.online with the payment reference and we will either grant it or return the money.

Please raise a problem with us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback on a delivered event pack may result in the wedding's gallery being suspended while it is resolved.

08Delivery of the service

Tasveer is a digital service. Nothing is shipped and there are no delivery charges. Access is granted immediately on confirmation of payment, to the account and the wedding the purchase was made for, and is used through the same browser you paid in.

A wedding's galleries remain available to guests for the retention period shown on the wedding, after which photographs and face data are deleted. A studio can end that period early by archiving or purging the wedding itself.

09Cancellation and refunds

An unused event pack is fully refundable for 7 days. After that, or once the pack has been used, it is not. In detail:

  • Before the pack is used. Ask within 7 days of payment, while no photographs have been uploaded to the wedding it was bought for, and you get all of it back. No reason required.
  • Once the pack has been used. A pack is used when the first photograph is uploaded to that wedding, or its gallery is published to guests — whichever happens first. From that moment the service has been delivered in full and the fee is not refundable — including if the wedding is later cancelled.
  • If the wedding is postponed. An unused pack moves with it, to the new date, at no cost. That is not a refund and does not need one — write to us and we will move it.
  • If we fail. If a fault on our side makes a wedding's galleries unusable for the event — matching that does not work, an outage across the delivery window, originals we cannot return — you get a full or partial refund, whatever is fair, whether or not the pack was used. Where it is genuinely unclear, we decide in your favour.
  • The free trial. Costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund and nothing to cancel.

How to ask. Email support@tasveer.online from the address your account is registered to, naming the wedding and the Razorpay payment reference. We answer every refund request within 3 working days.

How you get the money. Approved refunds are made through Razorpay to the original payment method — we cannot pay to a different card, account or instrument. We initiate within 5–7 working days of approving, and your bank or card issuer then takes its own time to post it, typically another 5 to 7 working days.

Cancelling. There is no subscription to cancel and no cancellation fee. You may stop using Tasveer, delete a wedding, or close your account at any time; deleting a wedding does not by itself refund a pack that has been used.

10Photographs and ownership

Photographs uploaded to Tasveer remain the property of the studio or photographer who owns them. We claim no ownership of them and we do not use them to train any model, our own or anyone else's.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and transmit those photographs for the sole purpose of running the service for you — making derivatives for display, indexing faces to find matches, and delivering originals to matched guests. The licence ends when the photographs are deleted.

Originals are never altered. We do not recompress an uploaded original. What comes out of a gallery is the file that went in, byte for byte.

11Personal data and face data

We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. What is collected, why, where it is held and for how long is set out in full in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. The summary below is not a substitute for reading it.

The consent notice a guest is shown before their selfie is the notice for that processing, and it states in plain language what is sent, what is kept, where, and for how long.

A selfie is used to search and is not stored. What persists is a numeric face signature held by our face-recognition provider, which belongs to one wedding, is never shared with another event, is never sold, and is deleted on request or at the end of the retention period — whichever comes first.

These are the parties that process data on our behalf. The current list, with what each one does, is clause 8 of the privacy policy:

  • Amazon Web ServicesFace recognition (Mumbai, India)
  • SupabaseDatabase and accounts (Mumbai, India)
  • Cloudflare R2Photograph storage (Asia-Pacific)
  • VercelApplication hosting (Global edge network)
  • RazorpayPayments (India)
  • ResendTransactional email (Global)

To exercise a right over your data — access, correction, erasure, or a complaint — write to support@tasveer.online. A guest can also delete everything themselves from their own gallery, without writing to anyone.

12Acceptable use

You agree not to use Tasveer to:

  • upload photographs you have no right to, or process a person's face without a lawful basis for doing so;
  • conduct surveillance, identification or profiling of people outside the delivery of a wedding you were engaged to photograph;
  • upload unlawful, obscene or infringing material, or material that the couple has not agreed to have delivered this way;
  • reach photographs, galleries or accounts that are not yours, or probe, scrape or overload the service;
  • resell or white-label the service without a written agreement with us.

We may remove content and suspend access where we have a reasonable belief that this clause has been broken.

13Availability and support

We work to keep Tasveer available and fast, particularly across a wedding. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may take it down for maintenance. Where we can foresee an interruption, we will give notice.

Support is by email at support@tasveer.online. We aim to reply within one working day, and faster where a wedding is live.

Except as this page says, the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind to the extent Indian law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

14Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to a studio for any claim arising out of a wedding is limited to the fees actually paid to us for that wedding.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of business or reputation. We are not liable for photographs a studio has itself deleted, or for the studio's own relationship with its clients or their guests.

Keep your own copies. Tasveer is a delivery service, not an archive or a backup. A studio remains responsible for retaining its own masters.

Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

15Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. On closure, weddings, photographs and face data are deleted in line with clause 11.

We may suspend or end access where these terms are broken, where a payment is reversed, or where we are required to by law. Where the breach is capable of being fixed, we will say what it is and give you a reasonable chance to fix it first, unless the breach is serious enough that we cannot.

Clauses 10, 14 and 17 survive the end of this agreement.

16Changes to these terms

We may change these terms — to reflect a change to the service, or a change in the law. The date at the top of this page is the date the current version took effect.

Where a change materially affects a studio's rights, we will give notice by email to the account address before it takes effect. A change never alters the price, the allowance, or the refund position of an event pack already bought — that pack keeps the terms it was bought under.

17Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.

Before going to court, please write to us. Almost everything is faster to settle over email than in front of a judge, and we would rather settle it that way.

18Grievances and contact

Write to support@tasveer.online about payments, refunds, data, or a complaint. Write to hello@tasveer.online about anything else.

We acknowledge a grievance within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days of receiving it, as required under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
